A MAIC HAT
Hello, my little friends!
Today, I have a special story to tell you.
It’s called:
“I and the Magic Hat.”
I am a little girl.
I have a big smile and shiny black hair.
One sunny day, I found a funny hat.
It was red, blue, yellow, and green.
“It looks magical!” I said.
I put on the hat.
Suddenly… POOF!
I became… a cat!
“Meow! I’m a kitty!” I said.
I jumped. I ran. I climbed.
Then I took off the hat.
POOF! I was a girl again.
I laughed and said, “This hat is amazing!”
I put it on again.
POOF! I became… a bird!
“Tweet tweet! I can fly!”
I flew high in the sky.
I saw trees, houses, and clouds.
It was so fun!
Then I saw a little puppy.
The puppy looked sad.
“Why are you sad?” I asked.
“I lost my bone,” said the puppy.
I took off the hat.
POOF! I was me again.
I helped the puppy look.
Under the bench? No.
Behind the rock? No.
In the flower pot? YES!
We found the bone!
“Thank you!” said the puppy.
“You are a good friend.”
I smiled.
I put on the hat one last time.
POOF! I had butterfly wings!
“Let’s fly together!” I said.
And we flew up, up, up into the sky.
