-----WATER----- Hello, my name is Lisa. I am five years old. Today is a quiet morning. The sun is soft. The air feels fresh. I wake up in my bed. I stretch my arms. I take a deep breath. I feel good. I get out of bed. I walk to the bathroom. I turn on the tap. Water comes out. Splash, splash. I wash my hands. The water is cool. The water feels nice. I look at the water. I think about it. Water is everywhere. After breakfast, my mom takes me outside. We walk slowly. We see a river. The water is moving. It goes left. It goes right. I ask my mom, “Where does water go?” My mom smiles. She says, “Water travels.” I watch the river. I feel curious. Later, we go to the park. I feel thirsty. My mom gives me a bottle. I drink water. The water goes inside me. I feel better. I feel strong again. I think, “Water helps my body.” In the park, I see plants. I see green leaves. I see flowers. A man waters the plants. The plants look happy. I learn something new. Plants need water too. Suddenly, it starts to rain. Drop. Drop. Drop. Rain falls from the sky. I open my hands. I feel the rain. The rain is cold. But it is fun. I laugh. I spin around. The ground gets wet. Little puddles appear. I jump carefully. Splash! My shoes get wet. But I am happy. When the rain stops, the sky is bright again. I see a rainbow. I feel amazed. At night, I lie in my bed. I think about water. Water helps me clean. Water helps me drink. Water helps plants grow. Water comes from rain. Water flows in rivers. I learn a big lesson today. Water is important. Water gives life. I close my eyes. I feel calm. Good night. See you in my next story.
