Hello, my name is Lisa. I am five years old. Today is a happy day. I want to be a chef. I wake up early. The kitchen smells nice. I wash my hands. Clean hands are important. I put on my little chef hat. I wear my apron. I feel ready. I walk into the kitchen. I look around. I see fruits. I see vegetables. I see apples. I see bananas. I see carrots. I smile. First, I wash the fruits. Splash. Splash. Water is cold. Water is clean. I learn something new. Chefs wash food before cooking. Next, I cut soft fruit. Slowly. Carefully. My mom helps me. I put fruit into a bowl. Red apples. Yellow bananas. The bowl looks colorful. I mix them gently. Round and round. I smell the food. It smells sweet. Now, I cook vegetables. I put carrots in a pan. I hear a soft sound. Ssshhh… The pan is warm. I learn something new. Heat cooks food. I stir slowly. I watch the colors change. Orange carrots look bright. I feel proud. Later, I make soup. I add water. I add vegetables. The soup bubbles. Pop. Pop. I wait patiently. Waiting is important. Soon, the food is ready. I call my family. “Dinner is ready!” We sit together. We eat together. Everyone smiles. My dad says, “This is delicious.” My mom says, “Good job, Chef Lisa.” My heart feels warm. I learn a big lesson today. A chef cooks with care. A chef shares food. A chef makes people happy. At night, I lie in my bed. I think about my day. I cooked food. I learned new things. Maybe one day, I will be a real chef. I close my eyes. I smile softly. Good night. See you in my next story. 🌙🍲💛
