Hello. My name is Lisa. Today is a new day. I feel curious. I want to be an electrician. In the morning, I wake up early. The room is quiet. The light is off. I walk to the wall. I see a switch. Click. The light turns on. Wow! The room is bright. I smile. Electricity is amazing. I wash my face. I brush my teeth. I put on my work clothes. I wear a small helmet. I feel ready. I take my tool bag. Inside my bag, there is a flashlight, there is a screwdriver, there are gloves. Safety is important. I go to my playroom. Today, it is my workshop. My teddy bear is there. My doll is there too. They need help. My teddy bear says, “The lamp is not working.” I feel calm. First, I turn off the power. Click. No power. It is safe now. I check the wire. I look carefully. I use my flashlight. The wire is loose. I fix it slowly. Very slowly. I wear my gloves. Safety first. Now, I turn the power on. Click. The lamp lights up. Bright light! My teddy bear smiles. I smile too. Later, my doll comes. She looks worried. “The fan is not moving,” she says. I nod my head. I check the switch. I check the plug. Everything looks fine. I press the button. Whirr… The fan starts to spin. Air moves. The room feels cool. I learn something new today. An electrician helps electricity flow. An electrician fixes lights and fans. An electrician works safely. In the afternoon, I walk with my mom. I see street lights. They are tall. They are bright. They help people see at night. I feel proud. At night, I lie in my bed. I think about my day. I fixed a lamp. I fixed a fan. I helped others. Maybe one day, I will be a real electrician. I close my eyes. I feel calm. Good night. See you in my next story.
